The deal between you and us. Short, because the service is simple and we would rather you read it.

What the service is
Thwok helps you book a court, find a game, and run a club's nights and its money. It is in beta: things change, and venue onboarding is done by hand.
Your account
- You need to be 13 or over.
- Use your real name where other players see it — a roster only works if it is true.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- You can stop using it whenever you like.
Courts, payments and club money
Court bookings are between you and the venue. We reserve the court in your name and pass on the venue's terms, including their cancellation rules — but we do not take your money for it. You pay the venue directly, and any card details you give are given to them, not to us.
Club money is different and this is the important part: we are not a bank and we do not hold your club's funds. The ledger, the statements and the settlements are a shared record of what the club's members owe each other. The money moves between you directly. We keep the record honest; we are not a party to the debt.
Using it fairly
- Do not book courts you have no intention of using.
- Do not enter results you know are wrong — ratings are other people's too.
- Do not use the club money tools to collect money you are not owed.
- Do not scrape, break, or try to reach other people's data.
We can suspend an account that does these things, and we will say why.
Availability
We try to keep it up and we do not promise it always will be. If we are down when you meant to check in, the club can correct the night afterwards — nothing about a session is lost because the app was.
Where our responsibility ends
We are responsible for running the service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for what happens on court, for a venue's own conduct, or for disagreements between club members about money — though the ledger is usually the thing that settles them. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
